911 PANDEMIC. IS IT TOO LATE?

Artist Statement behind this collection ‘911 Pandemic, is it too late?”

Has the path of destruction, hate and violence gone too far? Is it too late to redeem human kind? Are we past looking for hope and positive change in this world? My expressions come to life in these pieces as my feelings of frustration, anger and hopelessness are released through my brush and onto these canvases. I aspire for the audience to take in the artwork and see how they interpret these pieces in their own way and perhaps come to unearth the answers to: What is the world missing and what happened to humanity? Could humanity be restored if we gave society a piece of our hearts rather than a piece of our minds? A combination of both hatred and ignorance are fatal elements to the birth of racism, where respect is the foundation of love and compassion. Without respect, love cannot exist, and if love does not exist than we provide a chance for hate and racism to be formulated.
