My Faith in Humanity - 48" x 36" SOLD
Acrylic on Canvas with coarse granules
Unfortunately, with the advancement of technology bad news seems to be more viral than good news. As you scroll through your social feeds you will notice that you a world of bad news readily available at our finger tips. So it’s not surprising that one can become overwhelmed by all the destruction and violence in the world. It forced us to believe that things are spiraling out of control and we are headed down a path of deconstruction. It requires more than one person, more than one good deed and more than one movement to try and stop it, or at least slow its momentum. The lack of respect, kindness, compassion and love I have observed in this world has shattered my faith in humanity. There is a miniscule amount of hope left; enough to believe that the restoration of humanity can happen and good news will transpire and eventually overtake all the bad news. There has to be hope, if we give up hope, what else is left?
